Description - Scottish Hydro Electric Power Distribution plc (SHEPD) owns and maintains the electricity distribution network in the North of Scotland and Scottish Islands comprising of overhead lines, underground cables and submarine electricity cables. SHEPD are responsible for the maintenance, repair and replacement of submarine cables in order to maintain security of supply to customers.
