Description - Description: The Ministry of IenW has requested that RIVM extends the National Air Quality Monitoring Network (Landelijk Meetnet Luchtkwaliteit, LML) with continuous measurements of UFP concentrations. In addition, it turns out that the upcoming new EU Air Quality Directive will contain an obligation to monitor UFP with instruments that comply with the (proposed) technical standard FprEN16976:2024. RIVM currently owns three Condensation Particle Counters (CPCs) that can measure UFP concentrations, but these are relatively old and do not comply with FprEN16976:2024. Therefore, new instruments are needed to set up a number of continuous measurement sites and to achieve compliance with FprEN169
